Registrations for this 2025 edition can only be made via the online form.
(The form will be available from April 15 on this site - please be patient!)
New edition, new rules!
For 2025, we've changed a number of points in the rules,
so don't hesitate to read the full updated instructions below :
What's new /
Contest open to 18- to 32-year-olds (instead of 30)
Candidates who have already taken part in a previous edition of the competition may apply again, as many times as they wish.
Solos for the semi-final and final may last up to 7 minutes (instead of 5 minutes).
About the Contest /
International Solo Competition for contemporary dancers.
The aim of the BRUSSELS DANCE CONTEST is to promote contemporary dance and to help talented dancers to start a career and to build up their professional network. The competition is open to contemporary dancers of all nationalities, aged between 18 and 32 on the day of registration. The competition jury is composed of personalities and professionals of the choreographic and contemporary dance sector.

for the Semi-Final / results before June 2
SEMI-FINAL
selection for the final / 17th, 18th and 19th of October 2025
FINAL
on stage, in front of the jury and the public / 23rd of November, 2025
The 10 finalists will present their solo during the Festival Antigone 2025,
on the stage of the theater of the Centre Culturel d’Uccle (www.ccu.be) in Brussels

Concours ouvert de 18 à 32 ans (au lieu de 30)
Les candidats qui ont déjà participé à une édition précédente du concours, peuvent se présenter à nouveau, autant de fois qu’ils veulent.
